Training at my new job wednesday updates

Started my onboarding with Ray yesterday and was on a call for two hours on discord sharing screens and learning the ropes. Slowly organically growing the gothicgirl.shop store and fb page.  Gothic Girl Getting some yard work done as we mowed the lawn two days ago and I need to mow behind the shop again and have more training today, as well as need to rake piles and move them.  Hit a roadblock on my course work as my keyboard doesnt have the question mark, at sign, or quotation marks so the sql coding was not possible. I will have to go to the library and work on it there, but it has since taken the backburner to all the new roles and responsibilities of the new job. Lots to learn and lots of risk and hopefully randomness in the ad markets can be dialled into target areas and convert to sales.  :) Went for Chinese last night at Golden Fountain with Gram and Cliff and mom and it was nice to see Gram how she recovered since her stroke and it was also her first time ou...

Saturday

Went to town and got groceries and grabbed some cash yesterday and played 240 in games. Got lots of bonuses but no big wins.  Had a bubly with the mormons this morning and going to church tomorrow. Should be pretty fun. At the end of module 1 course 3 and back at it tomorrow night as I`ll be picking weeds most of the day tomorrow.

Interviews

Just chilling listening to Baroque Classics Babysitting Django while mom goes to the pool and I pitched a research survey and have an interview at 3 today to learn more about my role as an Ecommerce Account Manager. Hoping to get lots of leads and good management aspects and sales to boost my client`s budget! :)  Have to mow some lawn today. Took out some cooked prawns to thaw and munch later and had a delicious apple for lunch. Still going on my courses, but not as hard since I am spending some time looking for work and trying to generate leads so I didnt even get through Module 1 yesterday, but still very satisfied with the two courses I did get in such a short time. Installed Whatsapp and gonna be using Discord again to manage convos.  Lots of coffee this morning! It is supposed to be 28 high today and 31 high tomorrow. Purchased a new bed table from Caitlynn and picking that up tomorrow and also payday tomorrow and restock supplies. Mom is gonna grab my temu package ...

Saturday - Busy Lazy Day

Image
Started with a douse of rain this morning and cancelled the meeting with my missionary friends as I can see them later since it was rainy out. I gambled on the Dragon X Prime Game last night and also a Wildfire game and had some fun blowing off some steam. Mom and Darcy went to the Cabins this morning....www.athabasca-river.com where guests can rent cabins in the wilderness and travel by jet boat on the Athabasca River to get there.  I completed my first Google Course and got my certificate today. :) Looking forward to a productive day on my second course and also doing some garden weeding.

TGIF

Good morning and thank god its Friday. Noticed a deposit of 130 this morning as part of the Canada Worker`s Benefit, and excited to challenge the Module 4 Quiz in my course today. Watched a Yoga video to get work out ideas and cooking some bacon. On pot of coffee number 2 so far today and have a breakfast meeting at 825 with my aunt and uncle and grandma comes home today probably. Mom has been busy cleaning her apartment with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Darcy and guess she had so much stuff packed in there! LOL Had a relaxing day yesterday and applied for the Vehicle Sales Associate at Hunter Motors this morning. It is only 6am but I watched the sun rise this morning and saw a surreal pink cloud in the sky where it was coming up to the NE.

Good Morning!

There is a light drizzle happening this morning and it is peaceful and calming to relax to.  I will get my first course done today! Made some good coffee!

Darcy Takes the Lawnmower!

Image
Darcy came over this morning and grabbed the lawn mower with a very nice looking trailer! Mom is going to visit Grandma. I am listening to Tiesto and applying for jobs, writing, and doing research.  I also signed up for a Digital Presentation and registered how to write an abstract for a conference.  Today I will continue with Google Analytics and clean up some piles of grass from the lawn that my mom raked. I filled my mower and do some trail mowing also but also need to clean my shelter and maybe put a tarp on the tipi.  Also completed the first module of my course.

Lawn Mowed and Sound Bar Installed!

Happy Sunday Everyone! Today was a productive morning watching the Athabasca Reformed Church, then lawn mowing for 45 minutes afterward. Darcy and Mom got their mower going with a belt change and mom has been going strong on the mower. Tested out my sound bar yesterday and today after installing it using the HDMI eARC setting. Last winter I got a nice new 50 inch TV and this sound bar really complements it.  I have 33 dollars in free credits so might play some games later and crib with mom and see what the weather brings in.  Back to studying tomorrow and applying for jobs.  chat soon!

Sound Bar Waiting for Pick Up

I got lucky the other day. I ordered a Sound Bar Surround System with 7 pieces and it is out for delivery! It took only one day to ship and arrived overnight. Mom is in town this morning visiting Grandma who is in the hospital from a stroke that incurred June 11. She is 87 and I am praying for her recovery.  Now back to the soundbar. I asked mom to pick it up since she is already in town, but I need to do a grocery run today, even though its raining and I have enough food for a few days. In fact, cooking some bacon right now, and going to hunt for coffee filters soon. The problem with working away in Camp is that the food reserves expire before I get home so no fresh milk in the bridge, and browned bananas to come home to. The work was intense and it is going to take some time to come down from all the nervous excitement that the job brought. I decided to take two months off to work on my Google Analytics Professional Certificate. I hope to be done Course 1 by July 22.  ...

Happy Birthday Canada and the USA!

Image
Have you ever wondered why confederation between the US and Canada is so close on the Calendar I dont typically work on Canada Day or Independence Day as I celebrate both the Canada and US National Holidays. Also the GST rebate in Canada has now been changed to the grocery essentials benefit.
